"The Web-based contact database, CAS PIA, from CAS Software is designed for managing customer addresses, sales opportunities, appointments, call lists and correspondence with business partners. Users access data over an SSL connection using either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 8. In their personal home page they can view the geographical distribution of specific groups of customers using the so-called heat maps. Heat maps are maps from the Microsoft’s geodata service Bing Maps, which highlight areas with a high concentration of customers. CAS PIA costs €19.90 a month per user."

CAS PIA shortlisted for the German Internet Prize

"Six successful small and midsize companies have been shortlisted for the German Internet Prize," annnounced the high-tech association BIKOM today in Berlin. An independent jury of businesspersons and scientists selected the finalists from among 300 hopefuls. The winner of Germany's most prestigious IT competition will be announced in Stuttgart on November 6 […]. “With the German Internet Prize we are promoting midsize companies that are leading the innovation race and are dictating the trends for others to follow. Because good ideas also need a high level of attention,” explained Heinz Paul Bonn. BITKOM is organizing the competition in cooperation with the German Federal Government and under the patronage of Michael Glos, the German Federal Minister of the Economy. The German Internet Prize is being awarded for the ninth time – this year as part of a larger event called "Germany – the land of ideas."
